Anthony Jeselnik is a stand-up comedian from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Anthony starred in and created THE JESELNIK OFFENSIVE, which ran for two seasons on Comedy Central. Anthony has written for and appeared on several roasts for Comedy Central, most notably THE ROAST OF DONALD TRUMP and THE ROAST OF CHARLIE SHEEN. Anthony has performed on CONAN, THE TONIGHT SHOW, JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE and was the first ever stand-up comic to appear on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON. He has also written for LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON and received an Emmy Nomination for his work on A NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS: AN OVERBOOKED CONCERT FOR AUTISM EDUCATION. Anthony was named one of Variety?s 10 Comics to Watch in 2008 and one of Comedy Central?s Hot Comics in 2009. Five years ago, the Flynn exhibited VSA Vermont?s Engage, a juried show that introduced the work of 35 visual artists with disabilities. FLOURISH continues this work in partnership once again with VSA Vermont as well as Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. A statewide call garnered 46 submissions and 31 works in acrylic, oil, and watercolor; drawings in ink, pastel, crayon, and charcoal; photographs, ceramics, weaving, as well as mixed-media sculpture and assemblages were chosen by both new and established artists.

Creating a modern-day version of an American rock-n-roll album is no easy task in today?s world of Pro Tools and multiple producers, but Awolnation were up to challenge when the multi-platinum rock act set out to record their third studio album. Released February 2, 2018, Here Come the Runts (Red Bull Records) sees founding member Aaron Bruno once again at the helm producing, writing and recording. ?With this record I really wanted to make a rock n? roll/pop album,? says Bruno. ?And I say ?pop? how I grew up listening to it, in the sense of Dire Straits or Born In The U.S.A or The Cars or Tom Petty.?

Here Come the Runts is the follow up to the platinum-certified debut album Megalithic Symphony, and 2015?s Run, which included the #1 hit ?Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)? as well as ?Top 5 tracks ?I Am? and ?Woman Woman.? Bruno spent 2017 crafting the album in his home studio nestled in the coastal mountain range separating the Pacific Ocean and the suburbs of Los Angeles where he grew up. The secluded location is reflected throughout the album. ?The record definitely has a feel to it that seems parallel to the vibe of this mountain and the land,? Bruno notes. ?It?s like a non-GMO record. There?s no fake shit on there, none of the vocals are tuned. It?s all real playing.?

Fourteen tracks later, Here Come the Runts was inspired by the albums he grew up listening to as a sort of goal post. Bruno set out to create his version of an all-American rock n? roll album, AWOLNATION style. ?I wanted to make an album that felt like the dream of America that isn?t necessarily true, certainly not as much as it once was. Or maybe it never has been? but the idea of when you listen you just feel this nostalgic sentiment of a high school reunion, or that girl you fell in love with that you never got to talk to in junior high. The feeling of unity and anthemic songs. The spirit of what I thought Born In The U.S.A was, inspired this record in a lot of ways.?

Audrey Harrer is an alt-chamber composer/vocalist/harpist. Her music is an eccentric blend of nostalgic vocals, cinematic imagery, and playful dissonance. Audrey looks for clever ways to connect lyric and gesture and is particularly interested in the space where music and drama collide.

Anjimile is a queer and trans songwriter/folk singer/lover boy with a heart of gold. As a first-generation Malawian-American raised in the suburbs of Richardson, Texas, their experiences with racism, homophobia and xenophobia in the deep south and beyond have helped to form the basis of their radical queer politics. The essence of their musical output is a gooey center of warmth and tenderness informed by the power of their intersectional identities.

Singer-songwriter/guitarist Brooke Annibale sheds a bit of her indie-acoustic skin on her forthcoming record Hold to The Light?a pop-progressive album that offers a fusion of textured electronic and traditional (guitar, strings, keys) instrumentation with songs bearing Brooke?s keen, soulful lyricism.

Produced by Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Lake Street Dive), Hold to The Light marks several major departures for Brooke in terms of both songwriting and production. Brooke?s thoughtful, layered songwriting anchors the production to explore a range of narratives working through themes of seeking truths, letting go, and reconciling the past with the present. Both lyrically and musically, Hold opens up spaces for the listener to inhabit and make their own.

Hold to The Light is an exciting evolution in Brooke?s career as a musician. Her creative roots run deep with family connected to music?her grandfather founded a music store, which continues to operate today in her hometown, Pittsburgh. Hold to The Light is due out in 2018

"The road goes on forever ..."

It's not always easy to sum up a career - let alone a life's ambition - so succinctly, but those five words from Robert Earl Keen's calling-card anthem just about do it. You can complete the lyric with the next five words - the ones routinely shouted back at Keen by thousands of fans a night ("and the party never ends!") - just to punctuate the point with a flourish, but it's the part about the journey that gets right to the heart of what makes Keen tick. Some people take up a life of playing music with the goal of someday reaching a destination of fame and fortune; but from the get-go, Keen just wanted to write and sing his own songs, and to keep writing and singing them for as long as possible.

"I always thought that I wanted to play music, and I always knew that you had to get some recognition in order to continue to play music," Keen says. "But I never thought of it in terms of getting to be a big star. I thought of it in terms of having a really, really good career and writing some good songs, and getting onstage and having a really good time."

Now three-decades on from the release of his debut album - with eighteen other records to his name, thousands of shows under his belt and still no end in sight to the road ahead - Keen remains as committed to and inspired by his muse as ever. And as for accruing recognition, well, he's done alright on that front, too; from his humble beginnings on the Texas folk scene, he's blazed a peer, critic, and fan-lauded trail that's earned him living-legend (not to mention pioneer) status in the Americana music world. And though the Houston native has never worn his Texas heart on his sleeve, he's long been regarded as one of the Lone Star State's finest (not to mention top-drawing) true singer-songwriters. He was still a relative unknown in 1989 when his third studio album, West Textures, was released - especially on the triple bill he shared at the time touring with legends Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark - but once fellow Texas icon Joe Ely recorded both "The Road Goes on Forever" and "Whenever Kindness Fails" on his 1993 album, Love and Danger, the secret was out on Keen's credentials as a songwriter's songwriter. By the end of the decade, Keen was a veritable household name in Texas, headlining a millennial New Year's Eve celebration in Austin that drew an estimated 200,000 people. A dozen years later, he was inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame along with the late, great Van Zandt and his longtime friend from Texas A & M, Lyle Lovett.

But the road goes on and on, with no time for resting on laurels. Not that Keen's complaining. "I had a relatively open schedule for 2016 back at the beginning of the year, but it has just filled in like you wouldn't believe," he marvels during a rare day off in Kerrville, Texas (where he lives with his wife and two daughters). "I've broke my record this year - I've packed for five trips at one time, because I wasn't going to be starting any of them in the same place. It's been crazy!

It isn't always easy being Robert Earl Keen, but somebody's got to do it. And now more than ever, he's up to the task and loving every minute of it.

On their sixth album LA Divine, Cold War Kids pay tribute to Los Angeles and all its strange glory. The follow-up to 2014's Hold My Home -- featuring the gold-certified single "First" -- the band's latest is slightly tongue-in-cheek in its title. "In many ways LA is the least divine city, the most hedonistic and irreverent and disconnected from history," says Cold War Kids singer/guitarist/pianist Nathan Willett. Still, LA Divine embodies the Long Beach-bred band's endless fascination with their adopted hometown. "LA's so massive, I feel like I'm always finding something new in it," says bassist Matt Maust. "It's an incredibly weird place, and I'm happy to have made a record that totally honors that weirdness."

A feeling of infinite discovery instills much of LA Divine, the band's most expansive and ambitious effort so far. With Cold War Kids having recently marked the 10-year anniversary of their acclaimed debut Robbers & Cowards (a 2006 release that spawned their breakthrough single "Hang Me Up to Dry"), the album channels the kinetic energy of a newly revitalized band. "The excitement I have about this new album -- it feels so much like the way I felt back when our first record came out," notes Maust.

For Cold War Kids -- whose lineup also includes drummer Joe Plummer, multi-instrumentalist Matthew Schwartz, and guitarist David Quon -- that rejuvenation follows a creative rebirth of sorts. As Willett explains, the band took a more pop-informed and decidedly inventive approach to the making of LA Divine. "From the start of the band, our tastes have always been very backward-looking in terms of the tones and sounds and instrumentation we're working with," he says. "On this album we wanted to embrace something more modern, because in many ways the most creative sounds happening right now are coming from the world of pop and out of that influence we've ironically created what sounds like our most rock record yet "

Singer/songwriter Myra Flynn spends her career embracing dichotomy. Half Irish and half African American, her original indie/soul songs blend soulful vocals with a lyrical delivery that doesn't let one get too comfortable. As the New England Deli Magazine puts it, "Her vocal influences have as much in common with Ani Difranco and Shawn Colvin as they do with Rihanna and Jill Scott."

Flynn spent her Vermont childhood clad in leopard print and platform shoes, singing and dancing atop anything that looked remotely like a stage. These days, not much has changed. She has since shared stages with: Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), Mike Gordon (Phish) , Gabrielle Gordon (Natalie Merchant), Sonya Kitchell, Rayvon, Res, Alexa Ray Joel, Slick Rick, Anais Mitchell and Lee ?Scratch? Perry.

Crooked Measures, her 2009 debut album, earned Flynn a solid spot in the singer/songwriter circuit as well as much deserved media recognition. She was named "Best Up-and-Coming Performer" by Seven Days Newspaper (2010 and 2011) and "New England Artist of the Month" by The Deli Magazine New England. She signed a six-month licensing deal with CBS Records and her original song "Feels Like the Sunshine" was used on the CW television show "The Beautiful Life" (produced by Ashton Kutcher).

Flynn?s sophmore album, For The Record, dropped August 5, 2011. Produced by Vermont singer/songwriter Gregory Douglass, the New England Deli Magazine said the new album is crafted with ?a self-assured sense of commitment and what seems like another lifetime of reasons to sing.?

"For The Record is an album about everyone in my life but me. It's been an inspiring exercise to try to step out of my own perspective and kind of take on the role of the characters who shape my personal world,? Flynn said. ?As a result, I think the album is far more edgy than Crooked Measures. I really dove in and tried to explore religion, sex, anger, love and even death. I hope listeners can relate at times, but I think it's also okay if they simply listen. If they listen closely, they may hear the musical grownup inside of me who has finally arrived. I'm pretty proud of her."

Half Pigeon adds a third album to Flynn?s catalog of original music, building on the critical success of her debut Crooked Measures (2009) and sophomore release For the Record (2011). Produced by Matt Bogdanow of Plushgun, Half Pigeon was recorded at Motherbrain studio (Brooklyn), and features guest appearances by Gregory Douglass and Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio). The album received a raving review from Seven Days Weekly saying: "At its most organic, Half Pigeon recalls hints of 2012 darlings Alabama Shakes, and at her very danciest, Myra Flynn seems almost to channel Janet Jackson in her badass prime. What is truly noteworthy is that Flynn is often capable of delivering on both ends of this scale in a single song ? and with a unique voice and style to boot."

Never Mind the Mourning is Flynn's fourth body of work, recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Grammy Award winning producers Jared Lee Gosselin and Tony Ghantous. While Flynn has been known in the past for her more down tempo singer/songwriter work, this album is her first exploration in what she calls indie/pop. While the sound may be more pop, the lyrics are often not about what one might think they are as Flynn sneaks in themes of American ware fare, infidelity and domestic abuse between the sugary sounds.

Currently, Myra Flynn lives a bi-costal life, still holding onto her roots in Vermont half of her year while also working and living part-time in Los Angeles under the guidance of Swift Street Management Team. She has created a jewelry line made from recycled piano parts and recently partnered with Vermont Vineyard, Shelburne Vineyard to create a namesake wine: FLYNN. She has toured the United States countless times as well as: Whales, London, Ireland and most frequently, Australia. Her motto regarding next steps and fame tends to be: "If you're doing it, you've already made it."
