THE CELL PHONES
The Cell Phones is a 3-headed Lamborghini Countach, full of honest female pop energy (the best kind!) and exhilarating grindcore. Nothing will prepare you, and that's totally fine.
APE IN A TANK
Ape in a Tank is a drunken postmodern cover band from Milwaukee. Featuring members of Ifihadahifi, Body Futures, Rally, the Glacial Speed, and Heavy Hand, they have been playing sporadically since 2003. Firing familiar favorites into the ether and refitting upon receiving, Ape in a Tank were born to be a wedding band but have only played one wedding so far.
ROCKET PALOMA is a four-piece rock outfit with a heavy folk foundation and a progressive edge based out of Milwaukee. Their music blends imaginative leads atop a forceful and driving rhythm section with soaring vocals and crafted storytelling. The band is comprised of four core members: Joanna Kerner, Jonathan Blohm, Bob Schaab, and Jack Beyler. Kerner started off as a solo act but joined forces with the boys in 2015 becoming an energetic, collaborative ensemble. Shortly thereafter, they quickly garnered attention, performing a handful of bigger festivals and shows in the Milwaukee area, including an opening set with nationally-acclaimed touring act, Little Tybee. With each member coming from different backgrounds ranging from classical to jazz and metal to funk, ROCKET PALOMA melds their stylistic differences into a truly unique, genre-bending experience.
Songs about soaring and sinking in the American Middle West. As seen from space.
