Dave Hause, who released his third solo record ?Bury Me In Philly? in February of 2017 (through Rise Records) is showing no signs of slowing down!

Affectionately known as ?The Songwriters? Songwriter? by those ?in the know,? Hause?s ?Bury Me In Philly? has already garnished over 1,000,000 cumulative plays on Spotify alone and sales of his infamous ?Dirty Fucker? line of tour merchandise (which has featured images of both Donald Trump and shamed New Jersey Governor Chris Christie) has allowed the band to donate thousands of dollars to just causes.

Together Sean and Stuart combine their respective sounds to form a very unique blend of heartfelt lyrics, strong vocal harmonies and banjo twinged compositions.

Three Strands is a project started by Lancaster-based singer/songwriter Sean Cox in the winter of 2016. The debut EP titled ?Letters to the Light? was released in July, 2017 and is populated with tales of loss, love and ultimate redemption set against honest and simplistic arrangements. The music draws heavily from the American Folk revival as well as early gospel and blues traditions.

Stuart Young at the age of 26, is coming off his second album, ?Hold On? and has been touring on and off ever since. He was raised in the beautiful state of Maine in where music became a passion at the age of 13. Whether he plays in front of a living room of five people, or to a venue of a thousand, his transparent composure does not shift. He is willing to show weakness so that his songs translate as being honest and vulnerable. He passionately strums and sings every note in the songs. He brings a full sound in a solo environment that will move people to think and ponder these songs with him.

While other groups have chosen to present themselves in a clown-like fashion, 1988 has stayed true to its 80?s roots by paying respectful tribute to bands like Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Poison, Motley Crue, Guns-N-Roses, and even Journey. 1988 recreates a show one might have seen on Hollywood?s Sunset Strip at the height of the 80?s Metal era.
1988 focuses on pleasing the crowd by playing danceable material without straying too far from the 80?s Hard Rock theme. Of course, the 80?s were known for their ?monster ballads,? and there is no shortage of them at a 1988 show. The band plays several of the biggest ones every night. Not to ignore the aficionado, 1988 also throws in the head banging classics by Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister, Europe, Scorpions, and others.

Roots music legends Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore have been friends for 30 years, but only recently realized they had never played music with each other before. So, in 2017, Grammy winner Alvin and Grammy nominee Gilmore decided to hit the highway to swap songs, tell stories, and share their life experiences.

Though Texas born Gilmore was twice named Country Artist of the Year by Rolling Stone, and California native Alvin first came to fame in the hard rocking rhythm and blues band The Blasters, they discovered that their musical roots in old blues and folk music are exactly the same. In those spontaneous shows, audiences enjoyed classic original compositions from the two, as well as songs from a wide spectrum of songwriters and styles - from Merle Haggard to Sam Cooke to the Youngbloods. Mutually energized and inspired by these performances, Dave and Jimmie agreed to hit the road again in 2018?this time with a full band and some new stories to share!

This special concert is presented at The Valley Dale Ballroom, located at 1590 Sunbury Road in Columbus. The historic venue is celebrating its 100 year anniversary after recently undergoing an extensive renovation, and has hosted concerts by some of the biggest names in music over the years. Accomplished, vocalist, composer and arranger Kristina Koller will present music from her debut album ?Perception?. As one of the most applauded rising stars in jazz, Koller has developed quickly into a highly individual vocalist, melding jazz, funk, R&B and alt-rock sounds into her songs. Kristina arranges tunes in unique ways, knowing that adding to the legacy of jazz is much more important than recreating the performances of others. The New York native culled her musical chops in the NYC jazz scene, performing at venerable jazz haunts such as Smalls, Smoke, Minton?s, Mezzrow as well as The Apollo Theater. Kristina was a featured Discovery Artist at the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival and her quintet were semi-finalists in the 2017 DCJazzPrix competition.

Koller is a very original contemporary jazz vocalist, one that anyone interested in jazz, or for that matter progressive music, needs to hear.
