RotFront is the brainchild of Yuriy Gurzhy, an expat Ukrainian musician, well known as one half of the legendary Berlin-based Russendisko DJ collective, and his Hungarian fellow Simon Wahorn (ex-Balaton, Batu Karmen), a musician and DJ-originator of the Hungaro Groovers Soundsystem.

The band has been active since 2001 in various line-ups, staying faithful to their unique blend of eclectic styles, most notably reggae, klezmer, hiphop, cumbia and punk. Their turbo-driven "emigrantski raggamuffin" music, as they themselves call it, deals with everyday life in Berlin and adventures of an immigrant in a big city.

What is FamFest?
A multiple day event to bring the outcasts together. A weekend to prove that supporting bands in your scene makes a difference. When you are in a room with half bands and half show goers hopefully you will be able to see what supporting other bands in your scene can do for concerts in general. Network, make connections, and push your band to the next step, FamFest is that first stepping stone. It's not Warped Tour, its not Loud Fest, this is FamFest.

Paul, who's been spinning records since 1984, is the founder of The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine and its offshoot record label, Bomb Hip-Hop Records. On this night he rocks the house with hip-hop tracks from 1979 to 1999.

ABOUT YOUR DJ:
For over 20 years, DJ Dave Paul has been an integral part of hip-hop and DJ culture. In the early 90s, he launched the now legendary publication, The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine, and in 1995, Paul transformed the magazine into a record label. The company was named "one of the fifteen independent labels that matter," according to Rolling Stone, and the label's Return of the DJ series was ranked by Spin Magazine as #25 in their "The 90 Greatest Albums of the 90's" (Sept. 1999 issue), receiving a higher rating than Gold & Platinum albums by Lauryn Hill, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, and Fatboy Slim. Dave Paul has appeared on the front cover of Billboard magazine and is featured in the motion picture Scratch. Mr. Paul has DJ'ed throughout the US, toured Europe, released over 100 projects on his record label, and currently produces theme parties.

The groundwork for what has become the relentlessly touring sonic assault known as The Koffin Kats was laid near Detroit, Michigan when Vic Victor (Lead Vocalist, Upright Bass) joined forces with long-time friend Tommy Koffin (Guitar). After adding Damian Detroit (Drums), the band kicked off in June 2003, stopping for nothing. Now, with over 12 years of touring internationally, over two thousand live shows, and a few lineup changes. The touring trio?s current home is out on the open road.

The Goddamn Gallows formed in 2004 by founding members and Lansing/Detroit natives Mikey Classic on guitar and vocals, Fishgutzzz on upright bass, and Amanda Kill on drums -replaced by current drummer Uriah Baker (aka; "Baby Genius") in 2006. The trio started out migrating around the West for a time, holing up in Hollywood squats and squalid apartments, before releasing several albums: The Gallows EP (2004), Life of Sin (2005), and Gutterbilly Blues (2007), and finally hitting the road nearly full-time to establish their presence in the psychobilly-country scene while honing their self-described "twanged-out punk rock gutterbilly".
