Formed in the small community of Fillmore, New York by songwriting brothers Matt and Nathan Corrigan, Tough Old Bird plays a potent blend of authentic folk and blues that reflects the rural landscape it comes from, a place where the last train just pulled out and the carnival is always on its way to the next town.

From its formation in early 2013, Tough Old Bird rose quickly from open mic nights and campfire circles to opening and headlining gigs at bars, festivals and music clubs across New York State and beyond. Tough Old Bird's debut album, "Never To Return," was released on April 29th 2014, and there may be more than a touch of irony to the record's title - Tough Old Bird is here to stay. A followup EP, entitled "The Barn Sessions," was released in February 2015.

The core of Tough Old Bird's sound comes from Matt Corrigan's intricate acoustic guitar work, and from the voice and nimble harmonica playing of Nathan Corrigan, who holds a degree in literature and brings a poetic sensibility to the duo's lyrics. Accents of accordion and waves of electric guitar give Tough Old Bird a sound that is at once modern and ancient.

The love of early 20th century American roots music is very apparent with Oak Hill Drifters, who are based out of Orlando, Florida. Their music and performance echos the 1940's - 1960's paying homage to some of the great music writers and innovators of rockabilly, western swing, jump blues, country and the foundation of R&B.

The band's current iteration was formed in 2014 where its founder, Tommy Cooper recruited an all-star cast of performers including Rachel Decker, Craig Roy, George Dimitrov and Tom Pearce whose collective resumes include work with The HoneyBees out of Chicago, as well as Central Florida icons Hindu Cowboys and Rocket-88. Tommy and Rachel's impeccable vocal harmonies capture the essence of great duos of the past, reminiscent to the likes of the Everly Brothers and Louvin Brothers.

In mid 2016, the band released its debut 11 song compliation, "Fly Off The Panhandle." a 7-song EP is slated to be released in April 2018.
