Charley Organaire was one of Jamaica's top session players, recording with Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Derrick Morgan, Millie Small, Toots and the Maytals, and Phyllis Dillon just to name a few. The "Organaire" worked for the biggest labels in Jamaica: Prince Buster, Studio 1, Beverly's, Duke Reid, Treasure Island, plus he also produced hits for his Organaire label, most notably "Little Village", "Troubles". "Illusive Baby" and "Sweet Jamaica". As one of Jamaica's most popular entertainers, he naturally worked the north coast tourist industry with showcases at Playboy, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Intercontinental and Yellow Bird. Charley moved to Chicago in the late 70's, eventually forming his own band called "The Charles Cameron & Sunshine Festival". The "Organaire" band played in various night clubs, for major corporations, and political functions throughout Chicago including events for former Mayors Harold Washington and Jane Byrne. Charley has also played at Chicago Fest, Festival of Life, Taste of Chicago, and the African Fest. Charley "Organaire" Cameron continues to write and record to this day, the title track from his "Never Stop Loving You" CD appeared in the movie "Love Jones" starring Nia Long and Lorenzo Tate, and in 2012 Charley became a regular fixture at Chicago's Jamaican Oldies productions at Mayne Stage, performing with Stranger Cole, Roy & Yvonne, Eric Monty Morris, Derrick Morgan, Derrick Harriott, and Dennis Alcapone. In 2014 Charley got the itch to record again, and teamed up with The Prizefighters to cut six tracks which was released by Jump Up Records, and also lead to a three week European tour. Since then Charlie has continued to keep busy, guesting with The Skatalites in Chicago, performing with his Sunshine Festival Band and Derrick Morgan at Reggae Fest Chicago 2016, plus recording a version of Marley's "One Cup of Coffee" with Akasha for the Specialized cancer charity. In 2017 Charlie flew to Los Angeles for his very own Dub Club showcase backed by the Steady 45s, and at that show was joined by Sultan Ali, Son of Prince Buster. Sultan Ali returned the favor by bringing Charlie to the UK for the coveted Skamouth Festival. Those shows created the spark that lead Charlie to create his very own Jamaican ska supergroup called Two Legends & A Son with original Skatalite Lester Sterling and Prince Buster's son Sultan Ali.
