Since entering the scene in 2011, bass architect and dubstep pioneer MUST DIE! has steadily established himself as a timeless name in electronic music, demonstrating his production prowess on a multitude of releases through labels such as Never Say Die, OWSLA, Ultra, Dim Mak, Mad Decent, Atlantic, and Firepower Records.
Known for his versatility and undeniably rich sound design, the Seattle-based producer has presented an arsenal of powerhouse originals and remixes, collaborating with Skrillex, Datsik, Zomboy, Getter, Habstrakt, and more. MUST DIE!?s 2014 OWSLA-backed ?Death & Magic? LP has been acclaimed by fans and industry heavyweights alike, with the lead single ?Gem Shards? accumulating 3.2 million streams on Spotify alone and paving a path towards a supreme year in 2015, which saw the release of his ?Neo Tokyo? EP on Never Say Die Records and remixes for Kill The Noise, Feed Me, and Zomboy. 2016 continued the momentum and anchored his position as a formidable dance act, with his single ?VIPs? alongside Skrillex hitting over 4.8 million combined streams to date and a massive remix for Flux Pavilion & Matthew Koma?s ?Emotional? reaching almost 1.9 million streams on Soundcloud. MUST DIE!?s extensive catalogue continues to grow, as he builds on his relentless energy and constantly evolving sound.
2017 has been a busy year for MUST DIE!, from teaming up with Eptic to co-headline their Hyper Future Tour, to appearances at Moonrise, HARD Summer and Ever After Music Festival, an upcoming show at Red Rocks, and many more dates to be announced.
Since (quite literally) stepping up to take the spotlight last year, LAXX aka James Churchill has been widely received as the next hottest thing in electronic music. His multi- dimensional sound is slicing through the monochrome array of dance music, leaving a gap for his unique sound to take centre stage. Upon making such a huge impact with his debut release, LAXX is simply teasing the world with what is next in his quest for dance music domination.
Originally Oxford-based, James has absorbed the bright lights and culture of the capital and moved on to much bigger things. Graduating from University with a degree in film, television and music, his original soundtracks also became an instant success, winning awards around the UK and Europe at the key major film festivals.
Since the iconic ?Step One? was released through the powerhouse platform Never Say Die Records at the start of 2014, (previous artists to have released on the label include SKisM, Skrillex and Foreign Beggars), the bass scene hasn?t been the same. LAXX has already gained a cult following and status most key players would be lucky to reach in their lifetime, with this only being the start of his journey.
?Step One? and follow up EP ?Step Two? have fused a perfect balance between underground and mainstream and broken down genre barriers to bring in something current, with a futuristic edge. His sound screams class and exuberance, surrounded by a trademark raw and uncompromising groove. Taking elements from US hip-hop and UK underground music scenes, LAXX creates and delivers something innovative and exciting. The biggest note struck is within his American fan base, whose music tastes are undeniably some of the hardest to crack in the world. Fans instantly clocked on to his explosive sound, raising his profile enormously across the States.
Now with 3 hit releases in the space of 3 months alongside a handful of high profile remixes, LAXX is a key player in the popular music scene, with a lot more to come. ?Step Three? is still yet to come and this vastly talented man is showing he isn?t planning on slowing down anytime soon. No boundaries will be left untouched and no music genre is safe from his astounding creativity; LAXX is quite simply taking the music world by storm.
Since its inception, Dr. Ozi has been a driving force for Toronto-based producer Nix Chohan in all walks of life. What started as a figment of his childhood imagination grew to be a musical character never held down by expectations and helping it?s creator push past his comfort zone. Drawing inspiration from his roots in New Delhi, India, a classically trained mother, and punk-rock, the internet would eventually jump-start his fascination with the digitally birthed sound of dubstep.
Fast forward years later to 2017, and Dr. Ozi can be seen as an ever-growing name in the bass world. Recognized and supported by tastemakers like Skrillex, Zomboy, Datsik, SKisM, Getter, Snails, Slander, Nero, Zomboy and Adventure Club, he?s steadily rising through the ranks and bringing a new wave of undeniably heavy yet sleek productions along with him for the ride. Showcasing his colorful and rich palette of sound designs, Dr. Ozi has released on some of the biggest bass labels in the world including Never Say Die, NSD: Black Label, Buygore, Firepower and Uplink Audio. Performing throughout North America, Europe, and Australia and supporting bass powerhouse Zomboy on the Rott N? Roll tour, he?s continued to captivate live audiences through his energy and stage presence.
A proud force and trademark of Toronto?s talent, Dr. Ozi will continue to push boundaries as he gears up to release his arsenal of new music in 2018.
