In 1999, ABC began airing one of the first reality shows in major network history, ?Making the Band?, which chronicled the formation and rise to success of the boy band, Otown. The public tuned in to watch as Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, Ashley Parker Angel, & Dan Miller signed with Clive Davis? J Records, released the #1 singles ?Liquid Dreams? and ?All or Nothing?, and achieved platinum success with their debut album. Despite their success, the band broke up in 2004 both to escape an unfair record contract and to pursue individual endeavors.

After a crash course in the entertainment industry in their early twenties, the guys have enjoyed branching off into different facets of the entertainment business. Their first experience left them with a desire to become more educated, seeing first hand how incredibly complicated (and sometimes corrupt) the industry can be. And now, after 10 years apart, Trevor, Jacob, Erik, and Dan are reuniting as friends with a renewed passion for making music together again.

Starting as a happy accident of solo singer-songwriters getting together for a one-time-only performance at a tiny guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Wailin? Jennys have earned their place as one of today's most beloved international folk groups. Founding members Ruth Moody and Nicky Mehta, along with New York-based Heather Masse, continue to create some of the most exciting and exquisite music on the folk-roots scene, stepping up their musical game with each critically-lauded recording and thrilling audiences with their renowned live performances.

In 2004, Red House Records released The Wailin? Jennys? first full-length album, 40 Days, in the U.S. to great critical acclaim, and in 2005 it won them a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year. Bolstered by their frequent appearances on Garrison Keillor?s public radio show A Prairie Home Companion, The Jennys exploded onto the roots music scene, performing at packed venues across the U.S. and throughout the world. Their next CD, Firecracker,was a powerful follow-up to their debut album and found The Jennys stepping out of the folk realm and into the world of alt-country, pop and rock. Garnering much attention, it was nominated for a Juno Award and won a 2007 Folk Alliance Award for ?Contemporary Release of the Year.? It charted for over 56 weeks on the Billboard charts and was followed up by their 2009 release Live at the Mauch Chunk Opera House, which spent over a year on the Billboard bluegrass charts.

The Wailin? Jennys joined the ranks of Lucinda Williams and Emmylou Harris by recording their 2011 studio album Bright Morning Stars with award-winning producer Mark Howard, co-produced by frequent Jennys collaborator and Juno Award-nominated David Travers-Smith.

Although known primarily as an acoustic outfit, The Wailin? Jennys have a wide range of musical backgrounds that have formed their musical sensibilities. Soprano Ruth Moody (vocals, guitar, accordion, banjo, bodhrán) is a classically trained vocalist and pianist known as an accomplished, versatile singer of traditional and Celtic music and was the lead singer of Juno-nominated roots band Scruj MacDuhk. Red House Records released her first full-length solo album The Garden,whose title track was the #4 most played song of 2010 on folk radio followed by 2013?s These Wilder Things. She recently became a mother to a son, Woodson.

Mezzo Nicky Mehta (vocals, guitar, drums, ukulele) is a self-taught musician and classically trained dancer raised on ?70s AM radio. She was nominated for a Canadian Indie Music Award for her solo album Weather Vane and is working on a follow-up while also preparing for the release of a new children's book based on the lyrics of her song "Away But Never Gone" from Bright Morning Stars. When at home she splits her time between composing for contemporary dance and engaging in various social justice initiatives. With the Jennys, she spearheaded their ongoing relationship with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to raise awareness and funds for the cause. She is the proud mother of twin boys, Beck and Finn.

Alto Heather Masse (vocals, upright bass) is a Jazz Voice graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music and is a regular guest on A Prairie Home Companion. She has also toured with her own band, supporting her 2009 Red House release Bird Song. Masse has released two jazz collaborations with Red House: Lock My Heart, a collection of standards pairing her with keyboard legend Dick Hyman, and August Love Song, which found Masse united with free jazz trombonist Roswell Rudd. She is the mother of a son, August.

In the year of our Lord 2011, Megan Mullally met Stephanie Hunt in a sport utility vehicle whilst filming a motion picture in Smithville, Texas. The Earth inhaled sharply. Reality expanded and shuddered with delight. The local tree frogs stoppered their raucous ditty and have nary been heard from since.

That blessed day saw the voluptuous becoming of self-described punk-showbiz band, Nancy And Beth - the most magnificent duo to ever lay lung to a blues chord. A brace of bounty in the form of two young girls who are exactly the same age, they will ply their troth to bring it to you sweetly in your ear-holes. Together with their gypsy band of mystics, jazz pastors and Austin, Texas wild west tea-heads, these unusual ladies will gamely endeavor to meet - and even exceed - your entertainment quota via harmonies in song, hypnotic dancing, and spoken pleasantries.

In 2017, Nancy And Beth toured the US and UK extensively in support of their self-titled debut LP, entertaining the children while coyly refusing to explain to journalists why the ?And? is capitalized. Dates included Wilco?s Solid Sound Festival, Newport Folk, a debut at the Grand Ole Opry, Philly Pride, NPR Mountain Stage, and opening for the Pixies. All songs are choreographed by Mullally (who studied at the School of American Ballet and has performed in several Broadway musicals). JIM WEIDER, a master of classic telecaster guitar, is renowned for his rock and blues-based signature sound. He is among a select group of musicians with an endorsement from Fender and, for the past three decades, he's earned enormous respect from fellow musicians and music fans throughout the world. Born and raised in the famed arts colony of Woodstock, NY, Jim received great acclaim during his long tenure (1985-2000) as lead guitarist (replacing Robbie Robertson) for Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Band. During 15 years of international touring with original members Levon Helm, Garth Hudson and Rick Danko, Jim was featured on numerous albums, films, videos and television appearances. GE SMITH - Guitar & Vocals
GE SMITH was the music Director and led the Saturday Night Live (SNL, Roger Water?s Band) band for 10 years. During this time he also toured with Bob Dylan for four years. He also helped Mike Myers write a song for Aerosmith for when they performed on SNL. GE Smith was sought out by major recording artists like Jagger, who, shortly after Live Aid, called Smith to work with him on his first solo album, She?s the Boss. During this period Smith also did a few one-off recordings and concerts with David Bowie and Peter Wolfe. He just finished a three year run with Roger Water?s WALL LIVE worldwide tour.

Johnny Hiland - Guitar & Vocals
Johnny Hiland grew up in rural Maine, where he quickly established himself as a guitar prodigy and toured with the family band. He has recorded with Ricky Scaggs, Toby Keith and Randy Travis? and now he has his own solo CD, showing off his mastery of the Fender Telecaster.

The phenomenal Boston song machine TWISTED PINE delivers a cabinet of inventions with its self-titled summer of ?17 debut release [July 14, 2017] from Signature Sounds Recordings. The all-original album showcases a new force in Americana: four versatile players and singers writing and improvising across forms in bluegrass, folk, funk, jam, and vintage radio pop. With festively unpredictable live shows, Twisted Pine follows Americana masters Nickel Creek and Punch Brothers on a genre-bending, limitless trajectory.

Twisted Pine's album expands on the early life of the ensemble, which formed around a common obsession with the American bluegrass repertoire. The group rose fast in Boston, in the urban incubator of conservatories and Back Bay venues that produced label roster-mates Lake Street Dive and Crooked Still, plus Sarah Jarosz, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Esperanza Spalding, and Annie Clark (St. Vincent). Twisted Pine took an extended residency at the Cantab Lounge, the Mass Ave. dive bar in Cambridge where the raging Northeast bluegrass scene coalesces on Tuesday nights. The players, most of whom were still at Berklee College of Music, built those rst set lists with deeply satisfying bluegrass interpretations. They ventured out during school-year summers to play festivals, and won rst place in the prestigious band competitions at MASS MoCA's FreshGrass Bluegrass Festival and Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Special. Their resume grew: Joe Val Bluegrass, Green River Festival, Otis Mountain Get Down, RockyGrass (where they were runners up in a wicked sudden death band competition), Musikfest, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Ossipee Valley Music Festival, Celtic Connections (Glasgow), Club Passim's Down Home Up Here Bluegrass Festival, and many more. With a festive, anything's-possible stage presence, Twisted Pine built a reputation for stellar musicianship, string virtuosity, and luminous harmonies, all of which remain their hallmarks.

Twisted Pine evolved into something more than an interpreter of vintage American works; the band began to arrange bluegrass treatments of pop covers like Blondie's "Heart of Glass", and a mashup of Bill Monroe and Vulfpeck -- which went viral when Vulf re-posted the video. A certain inventiveness, combined with a compelling and growing list of each player's originals, caught the attention of Signature Sounds.

"As soon as we learned that Signature Sounds was interested, we made a conscious decision to focus on writing and arranging our own original music," said Dan Bui, Twisted Pine mandolinist. "As a group we had never done that, and there was a bit of a growing phase where we were learning how to write together and seeing what came out. There was kind of an unspoken understanding that stylistically it was going to be a bit dierent, but we never sat down and said we were going to write in any particular style, like we were going to write poppier songs or whatever. What came out was just us nally being able to express ourselves, drawing from all of our musical and personal inuences."

The inuences on the ensemble are vast -- as all four have studied music from childhood, and traveled widely -- but the most obvious are these: Dan Bui (mandolin, vocals) is a devotee of virtuoso picking and experimental bluegrass and jazz. Kathleen Parks (ddle/lead vocals) was raised in a household of Celtic music and jazz, which set deep roots for her insane ddling, velvet lm-noir vocals, and a roving interest in pop song forms. Chris Sartori (bass, vocals), frequently seen around Boston on electric bass in funk, jazz, and R&B settings, is arbiter of the deep pocket and the improvisational grooves. Rachel Sumner (guitar/lead vocals) is a student of the song: an omnibus of British ballads, obscure folk tunes, avant garde orchestral work, and radio pop. Her vocals have the crystalline clarity of Appalachian eld recordings.

The excitement of Twisted Pine?s live show ? Parks and Bui?s neo-jazz interplay, Bui and Sartori?s funky rhythm section, Sumner and Parks? astral harmonies ? comes through in the big pop sound of Twisted Pine, which was co-produced by the band and Dan Cardinal [Josh Ritter, Lori McKenna, Darlingside, Ballroom Thieves] at Dimension Studios.

"Dan Cardinal was able to pick up on our vibe instantly, and really steered us in the right direction," says Dan Bui. "His biggest influence on the album can be heard sonically. Dimension has kind of been a go-to spot for making records in the Boston bluegrass/folk scene lately, but Dan also brings in a wider sonic sensibility that he tastefully put to use on our record. Crunchy Wurlitzer piano, distorted guitar amps, and a swirling Leslie speaker all found their way onto the record. But he was always very thoughtful of what the song needed and was calling for and he provided invaluable advice and feedback throughout the process.?

A tried and true Michigan musician, Joshua Davis is set to release a new album, The Way Back Home, on September 8, 2017. Produced by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos, The Way Back Home is Davis? latest full-length studio album and first since his 2015 appearances as a Top 3 finalist on NBC?s ?The Voice? (season 8). The 11 original Americana songs featured on The Way Back Homereflect an honest, hardworking family man scribing scenes of the cycle of life through dark, broken, hopeful, and triumphant times.

An upbringing that occupied the urban landscapes of Detroit while spending summers in the wilderness on the southern tip of Lake Superior in Marquette, MI brings into view the backdrop of Davis? latest works. The Way Back Home follows a series of singular recordings (Fool Rooster, Magnolia Belles, A Miracle of Birds) by the prolific songwriter who has shared the stage with a ?Who?s Who? of American folk music icons such as Pete Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, Greg Brown, and Abigail Washburn. Recorded in East Lansing, MI by legendary engineer Glenn Brown, The Way Back Home highlights Davis? longtime collaboration with Jack White?s bassist Dominic John Davis, pianist Mike Lynch (Willie Nelson, Leon Russell), and drummer Mike Shimmin (The Olllam).

Already a heavily touring/recording artist with his previous band Steppin? In It (who have released five albums) and as a solo act with five albums under his name, getting a call from ?The Voice? was completely out of the blue for Davis. Unfamiliar with the show, he initially rejected the inquiry but the producers were persistent. After being convinced by his wife and allowed to skip the auditions, Davis signed up for an incredible six months in the national TV spotlight. He went on to sing high profile duets with Sheryl Crow (Live Finale: ?Give It To Me?) and Adam Levine (Live Finale: ?Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shows?), and he helped break the mold of original material being showcased on ?The Voice.? Davis was the first artist to sing an original on the show, which spawned the later segment, ?This Week of Original Songs.?

Davis entered the recording sessions for The Way Back Home with a well-oiled machine of a voice primed for the collaboration with Steve Berlin. His rough-n-tumble grit mixes with an undeniable Midwesterner?s charm for a soaring vocal performance on The Way Back Home. With his voice taking center stage, Davis? signature lyricism and deft acoustic guitar work is backed by a trio of Michigan?s finest musicians.

?The Way Back Home is a very personal look at where I?ve been and who I?ve become,? says Davis. ?In my 20?s, I felt like a disconnected ghost going town to town performing every night, and it just wasn?t a healthy life. Music and Memories of WAYLON JENNINGS by members of his recording and touring band

In the mid-70's Waylon Jennings and The Waylors were a pivotal force that knocked Nashville and country music back on their heels with their own way of doing things, standing up for their rights to create their own music, a movement they called Outlaw music.

A few years after the passing of Waylon in 2002, his Waylors' band members, Richie Albright, Jerry Bridges, and Fred Newell, formed Waymore's Outlaws to honor Waylon and to keep his music alive. A year later they invited Tommy Townsend to join their Outlaw band on lead guitar and vocals.

In the years that followed they recorded three albums, toured the nation, Canada, and Europe with their outlaw spirit playing Waylon's songs and one of theirs now and then. In January 2014 they began a four year touring engagement with Waylon and Jessi's son, Shooter Jennings, opening his shows and backing him on stage.

In January of this year, Barny and Carter Robertson, who became Waylors in 1975, joined Waymore?s Outlaws.

Collectively, The Waylors', Albright, Bridges, both Robertson?s and Newell, played on the recordings of Waylon's mega hits such as I Ain't Living Long Like This, Theme Song from the Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol' Boys), Luckenbach Tx (Back To The Basics Of Love) and Rainy Day Woman, as well as countless other gold and platinum hits.

Waymore's Outlaws are continuing today what Waylon began in the '70s, doing things their own way. Beginning in June, they will be venturing back out on the road to once again bring the ?Music and Memories of Waylon Jennings? to audiences across the globe, performing a new show called Runnin? With Ol? Waylon.

Waymore's Outlaws is not a tribute band nor a cover band. On stage they perform Waylon's.

Waymore's Outlaws Band Members:
Richie Albright - Waylon's original drummer, longtime friend and right-hand man joined Waylon and The Waylors in 1964. Richie not only toured and recorded with Waylon but he produced or co-produced many of Waylon's records that are still being played on radio today. The list of other artists that Richie has played and recorded with, and/or produced their records, is a long one: Jessi Colter, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr, Johnny Rodriguez, Tony Joe White, Goose Creek Symphony, Billy Joe Shaver, and so many more. Richie was recently inducted into the Greater AZ Country & Western Swing Hall of Fame for a professional career that spans over 50 years with more than 40 albums.

Jerry ?Jigger? Bridges- ?From Muscle Shoals to Music Row.? Jigger is a native Alabamian and a Alabama Music Hall of Fame Award winning musician. In the early 70?s he joined the legendary ?Fame Gang? and played bass on hits by ?The Osmonds,? Mac Davis, Paul Anka and Tom Jones. In 1978 he moved to Nashville. After contributing bass work on the ?Dukes of Hazard? Soundtrack and ?The Greatest Hits? album, Waylon asked him to join ?The Waylors? on the road. Jigger spent more than two decades with Waylon as session musician, record producer and co-writer. With more than 20 gold and platinum certificates to his credits, he still remains active as a session musician and producer.

Carter Robertson has worked as an artist, writer, and background singer in the music industry for most of her life. She traveled and recorded as the only female member of Waylon Jennings' band for many years--first in the ?The Waylors? all through Country Music?s Outlaw era, and then again with ?Waymore's Blues Band? the last 3 years before Waylon passed. Carter has recorded over 17 albums with Waylon and his wife Jessi Colter. Her voice is the one people hear singing backgrounds on songs such as "Ain't Livin? Long," "Luckenbach Texas" "Are You Ready for the Country," "Come with Me" etc. Recording credits include Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, James Taylor, and many others. In 2012 Carter's critically acclaimed memoir "Playin' on the Tracks" was released, as well as a film and album based on her show "Playin' on the Tracks?LIVE!"

Barny Robertson As the keyboard player in Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter?s band ?The Waylors? from 1975-81, Barny brought a much-imitated style to the stage as well as many albums. His keyboard work is heard on Waylon?s Are You Ready for the Country, Luckenbach Texas, Dukes of Hazzard, and many more, including one of his own songs, Ivory Tower. Barny has produced and arranged over 70 albums for children, including Waylon?s critically acclaimed ?Cowboys, Sisters, Rascals and Dirt.? In 1992 he was awarded a Grammy for children's album of the year. He has also been nominated for five Dove awards for various projects. Barny was a member of Waymore?s Blues Band from 1998-2001. His daughters are the band Carter?s Chord, for whom he co-produced two albums with Toby Keith. Since 2012 he has been producer and musical director for Carter Robertson?s ?Playin? on the Tracks-LIVE.?

Fred Newell is a bona fide veteran of the Nashville, Memphis and Muscle Shoals studio scenes having recorded with everyone from Waylon, to Alabama to Ray Charles. Upon moving to Nashville in 1972 he quickly became part of the ?Outlaw Music? recording scene based at Hillbilly Central, and also played in Tompall Glaser?s band on the original Outlaw Tour with Waylon, Willie, Jessi and Tompall. In addition, Fred was the staff lead guitarist on numerous TV shows including "Nashville Now"-for which he received five ACM Awards. He was the first country guitarist to ever receive an endorsement from Marshall Amplifiers. In 1993, Fred began playing steel guitar, which led to being hired by Waylon to play steel on his TV series ?Waylon and Friends? and a series of concert dates. Having worked in the studio with Waylon, Fred joined The Waylors touring on pedal steel after the legendary Ralph Mooney had retired from the road.

Tommy Townsend, on lead guitar and vocals, is a native of Blairsville, GA. Waylon was a pivotal force in Townsend's life as Tommy had the distinction of being mentored by Waylon in his youth. The two collaborated several times over the years, with Waylon playing guitar and singing harmony on some tracks, and co-producing an album on Tommy with Jerry Bridges. Waylon and his band took Tommy under their wings recording in the studio, and occasionally, out for appearances on the road. Now Shooter Jennings has produced a solo project with Townsend on BCR Media that will be released later in 2018. Tommy also owns his own distillery in Blairsville, Georgia called Grandaddy Mimm?s Distillery, where he distills his grandfather?s (Jack McClure 85 year old Craft Moonshine recipes.
